Salt and dust resistant
u2850 is the first wind turbine designed for the use in salty and dusty environments. With employment of a bearing sealing system with water-proof oil-bath bearings, it ensures operational stability and durability in weathers that are severe for wind turbines. u2850 is also designed to tolerate winds stronger than rated speed by deflecting itself and comes side onto the wind in order to avoid fatigue stress at blades and other parts. Additinaly, with a built-on PV panel, u2850 can self-supply power required for the deflection system even during a power outage.

Operates at -20 degree Celsius
mu 2850 is tolerant to not just strong winds but also to extremely low temperatures and can operate at as low as -40 degree Celsius (-4F). u2850 employs an insulated control system, snow-repellent paints, oil-bath bearings and a sealing technology taken from marine engineering.

Durable anemo-sensors
Anemoscopes and anemometers used for wind turbine control usually last only around two to three years. Failure of an anemoscope and anemometer accounts for 30% of all wind turbine failures. u2850 is equipped with the original anemoscope and anemometer that greatly improves reliability and durability of the overall control system even under severe conditions. Details to be announced.

Functional hybrid
142W PV panel equipped on the body surface of u2850 secures power that is required for its control system. This ensures stable operation of the control system even during a power outage. PV power also stabilizes overall output into a grid.
