"Pride on the sky"

Reflecting the World's expectation for the clean energy, wind energy is growing 25% each year. At the same time however, there are increasing cases where large wind turbines cannot be installed due to space problems or visual/environmental impacts despite having favorable wind conditions. Small wind turbines has been expected to solve some of these problems, but the small wind industry has failed to meet the expectation. Most of the conventional small wind turbines today has low practicality due to their structural defect and large power consumption for starting, and the product life is only two to three years because of their lack of safety and durability. Loopwing Wind Turbine, with its unique blade shape, is drawing attention of the world for exterminating the problems suffered by the conventional small wind turbines such as low practical efficiency, overspeeding, and acoustic noise.

History of Loopwing Wind Turbine started from the first test model with a diameter of 1 meter, which proved the high performance of the thin and tensile blades. Expanding from it to a diameter of 1.5m, 2.85m, and 4.8m, We are eventually aiming at the development of large size Loopwing Wind Turbine with a diameter of 168m and an output of 10MW. Furthermore, the future of Loopwing technology is not limited to wind turbine engineering but applicable to other fields of engineering such as aeronautical propeller, marine propeller, and ventilator. Loopwing is a technology that holds a limitless possibility.

When I was little, winter mountains in my hometown were always covered by a snow of one to two meters thick. Now there is almost no snow at all. I believe I am not the only one to feel the change around us. However our energy system continues to depend on thermal power that speeds up global warming and nuclear power that puts the risk on us, and our dependance to these power sources are becoming even larger. Starting with the wind turbine engineering, we, at Loopwing Company, strive to create and deliver new values through various fields of engineering with our proprietary wing technology with a conscious responsibility as a manufacturer and a hope of securing the energy source we can pass onto the next generations.
